The Duravit Happy D.2 Washbasin without Overflow, No Tap Hole, incl. Ceramic Drain Cover is a wall-hung washbasin from Duravit's Happy D.2 range (the soft rectangle of Sieger Design's Happy D.2). It hangs on the wall on bolts or brackets, and can be dressed with a full pedestal to hide the trap, a half-pedestal for a lighter look, or a chrome bottle trap left on show. Sizes: 60 × 40 cm and 40 × 40 cm. Finished in white.
The basin is Duravit sanitary ceramic with a hard, non-porous glaze, so it resists stains, scratches and limescale and wipes clean in one pass. It has no tap hole and no overflow: pair it with a wall-mounted or high-neck mixer and a free-flow waste. A ceramic cover for the waste is included, so the drain disappears into the design. The waste outlet is the standard 1¼″, so any pop-up or click-clack waste and any trap fits.
In Egyptian hard water a dense glaze is what keeps a white basin white; this one releases limescale with ordinary cleaner and never dulls. Mount it with the rim at 85 cm from the finished floor; the pedestal height is matched to that. Order it from Turqwaz with delivery anywhere in Egypt, cash on delivery or instalments through valU, Souhoola and Aman — and add Supply & Apply if you want it installed by our team.
