The Duravit Happy D.2 Washbasin with Overflow & Tap Hole is a pedestal-ready washbasin from Duravit's Happy D.2 range (the soft rectangle of Sieger Design's Happy D.2). It hangs on the wall on bolts or brackets, and can be dressed with a full pedestal to hide the trap, a half-pedestal for a lighter look, or a chrome bottle trap left on show. Sizes: 65 × 49.5 cm and 60 × 47.5 cm. Finished in white.
The basin is Duravit sanitary ceramic with a hard, non-porous glaze, so it resists stains, scratches and limescale and wipes clean in one pass. It has a central tap hole for a deck-mounted basin mixer and an overflow, so the bowl can be filled safely. The waste outlet is the standard 1¼″, so any pop-up or click-clack waste and any trap fits. Pedestal and half-pedestal are listed as options on this page. A wall-mounted siphon cover is also offered as an option.
In Egyptian hard water a dense glaze is what keeps a white basin white; this one releases limescale with ordinary cleaner and never dulls. Mount it with the rim at 85 cm from the finished floor; the pedestal height is matched to that. The listed price is for the basin only. Available as separate options on this page — Pedestal · Siphon cover (wall-mounted) — so you can complete the set in one order. Order it from Turqwaz with delivery anywhere in Egypt, cash on delivery or instalments through valU, Souhoola and Aman — and add Supply & Apply if you want it installed by our team.
