The Duravit Bottle trap is a chrome bottle trap from Duravit — the exposed siphon under a wall-hung or countertop basin that keeps drain odours out of the bathroom and looks good enough to leave on show. Finished in chrome.

Solid brass under a multi-layer chrome plating over polished brass that resists tarnish and limescale and wipes clean in one pass, with a 1¼″ inlet for the basin waste, an adjustable wall outlet tube with cover rosette, and a removable bottom cup for cleaning out hair and debris without tools.

Pair it with a basin waste and a wall drain outlet at 1¼″; it replaces the plastic trap that is normally hidden by a pedestal or a vanity. This Duravit product is genuine, supplied through authorised channels, and warranted against manufacturing defects for at least 2 years from the date you receive it, as required by Egypt's Consumer Protection Law No. 181 of 2018. Where Duravit or its authorised agent in Egypt offers a longer warranty on this item, the longer period applies automatically.

What the warranty covers: inspection and repair, original spare parts, the technician's travel, and transport to and from the service centre — at no cost to you. If the same defect recurs more than twice within the first year, you are entitled to a new replacement or a refund.

What it does not cover: damage from misuse, accidents or neglect; installation that does not follow the manufacturer's instructions; damage from water pressure or water quality outside the stated tolerances; limescale build-up where the product has not been cleaned as instructed; normal wear of consumable parts such as cartridges, seals, aerators and hoses; and cosmetic wear that does not affect function.

Keep your cover valid: Clean with a soft cloth and mild soap only — never acidic, chlorine or abrasive cleaners, which strip the finish. Fit angle valves with filters so debris in the supply never reaches the cartridge.

Your other rights: a 14-day return or exchange in original, uninstalled condition and packaging; a 30-day exchange or refund if the product is defective or not as described; and, for fragile items, transit damage reported within 48 hours with photos is handled with the carrier by Turqwaz.
