The Duravit Scala Single lever Basin Mixer with spout is a single-lever basin mixer from Duravit's Scala range (a minimalist cylinder with a pin lever and a slim curved spout). One lever sets temperature and flow in a single movement, and the compact body fits any standard one-hole basin. Available in chrome, black matte and brushed gold.
Underneath the finish is a solid brass body with a ceramic disc cartridge that controls flow and temperature with one smooth movement and stays drip-free for years. The surface is a durable multi-layer finish that resists scratches, tarnish and limescale and wipes clean in one pass. It mounts through a single hole in the basin or deck and connects with standard ½″ flexible hoses; an aerator at the spout tip gives a soft, splash-free stream and unscrews in seconds for descaling. Duravit lists the spout height as 8 cm. A pop-up waste is included and operates from the rod behind the spout.
Egyptian mains water is hard, so the finish and the working parts are specified to shrug off limescale — a wipe with a soft cloth keeps it looking new. Fit it on a washbasin, furniture basin or undercounter basin with one tap hole; it also suits a vanity with a pre-drilled single hole. Turqwaz delivers across Egypt, offers cash on delivery and instalments through valU, Souhoola, Aman and other providers, and can install it for you through Supply & Apply.
