The Duravit Happy D.2 Furniture Washbasin with Overflow & Tap Hole is a furniture washbasin from Duravit's Happy D.2 range (the soft rectangle of Sieger Design's Happy D.2). It is made to sit on a matching vanity unit, with a flat underside and a wide deck for soap and toothbrushes. Sizes: 120 × 50.5 cm, 100 × 50.5 cm, 80 × 50.5 cm, 65 × 50.5 cm and 60 × 50.5 cm. Finished in white.

The basin is Duravit sanitary ceramic with a hard, non-porous glaze, so it resists stains, scratches and limescale and wipes clean in one pass. It has a central tap hole for a deck-mounted basin mixer and an overflow, so the bowl can be filled safely. The waste outlet is the standard 1¼″, so any pop-up or click-clack waste and any trap fits.

In Egyptian hard water a dense glaze is what keeps a white basin white; this one releases limescale with ordinary cleaner and never dulls. Match the basin width to the vanity; the deck covers the unit's top edge. Delivered to every governorate in Egypt by Turqwaz, with cash on delivery, instalments through valU, Souhoola and Aman, and professional installation available through Supply & Apply.

Covered for a minimum of 2 years. This Duravit product is genuine, supplied through authorised channels, and warranted against manufacturing defects for at least 2 years from the date you receive it, as required by Egypt's Consumer Protection Law No. 181 of 2018. Where Duravit or its authorised agent in Egypt offers a longer warranty on this item, the longer period applies automatically.

What the warranty covers: inspection and repair, original spare parts, the technician's travel, and transport to and from the service centre — at no cost to you. If the same defect recurs more than twice within the first year, you are entitled to a new replacement or a refund.

What it does not cover: damage from misuse, impact or neglect; chips or cracks caused after delivery or during installation by others; installation that does not follow the manufacturer's instructions; damage from aggressive or abrasive cleaners; limescale where the product has not been cleaned as instructed; normal wear of consumable parts such as seat hinges, buffers, seals and flush mechanisms; and cosmetic wear that does not affect function.

Keep your cover valid: Inspect the ceramic on delivery and report any transit damage within 48 hours with photos. Clean with non-abrasive bathroom cleaners only.

Your other rights: a 14-day return or exchange in original, uninstalled condition and packaging; a 30-day exchange or refund if the product is defective or not as described; and, for fragile items, transit damage reported within 48 hours with photos is handled with the carrier by Turqwaz.
