The Duravit Happy D.2 Countertop Basin with Overflow & Tap Hole, incl. Ceramic Cover is a countertop basin from Duravit's Happy D.2 range (the soft rectangle of Sieger Design's Happy D.2). It sits on the counter with its rim resting on the surface, combining the look of a sit-on basin with the practicality of an overflow and a tap hole. Sizes: 60 × 46 cm and 50 × 40 cm. Finished in white.
The basin is Duravit sanitary ceramic with a hard, non-porous glaze, so it resists stains, scratches and limescale and wipes clean in one pass. It has a central tap hole for a deck-mounted basin mixer and an overflow, so the bowl can be filled safely. A ceramic cover for the waste is included, so the drain disappears into the design. The waste outlet is the standard 1¼″, so any pop-up or click-clack waste and any trap fits.
In Egyptian hard water a dense glaze is what keeps a white basin white; this one releases limescale with ordinary cleaner and never dulls. Set the counter so the rim lands at 85–90 cm from the floor, and choose a mixer whose spout clears the rim and reaches the bowl centre. Delivered to every governorate in Egypt by Turqwaz, with cash on delivery, instalments through valU, Souhoola and Aman, and professional installation available through Supply & Apply.
