The Franke Maris Kitchen Sink 56 x 44 cm MRG 610-52 Fragranite is a Fragranite composite kitchen sink from Franke — Maris, Franke's contemporary bestseller with tight-radius bowls. External size 56 × 44 cm, model MRG 610-52. Fragranite is Franke's granite composite — around 80% quartz sand bound in acrylic resin — moulded in one piece with the bowl, so there are no welds, the colour runs right through, and the surface shrugs off scratches, chips, stains and hot pans. Colours: Matt Black, Onyx, Stone Grey, Oatmeal and Polar White.

Fragranite is resistant to heat, impact, scratches and household chemicals, and Franke's Sanitized treatment is built into the material to inhibit bacterial growth on the surface. The sink comes with its basket-strainer waste and overflow; the tap hole positions are pre-marked for knocking out on site.

Wipe it dry after use and avoid steel wool and chlorine bleach — that is the whole maintenance routine, in Egyptian hard water or any other. Check the base-unit width: a sink this size needs a cabinet at least 5 cm wider than the sink's length. Covered for a minimum of 2 years. This Franke product is genuine, supplied through authorised channels, and warranted against manufacturing defects for at least 2 years from the date you receive it, as required by Egypt's Consumer Protection Law No. 181 of 2018. Where Franke or its authorised agent in Egypt offers a longer warranty on this item, the longer period applies automatically.

What the warranty covers: inspection and repair, original spare parts, the technician's travel, and transport to and from the service centre — at no cost to you. If the same defect recurs more than twice within the first year, you are entitled to a new replacement or a refund.

What it does not cover: damage from misuse, impact or neglect; installation that does not follow the manufacturer's instructions; scratches, staining or corrosion caused by steel wool, chlorine bleach, acidic cleaners or items left standing on the surface; damage from water quality outside the stated tolerances; normal wear of consumable parts such as strainers, seals and hoses; and cosmetic wear that does not affect function.

Keep your cover valid: Rinse and dry the sink after use, avoid steel wool and chlorine bleach, and do not leave wet cast-iron pans or citrus standing on the surface.

Your other rights: a 14-day return or exchange in original, uninstalled condition and packaging; a 30-day exchange or refund if the product is defective or not as described; and, for fragile items, transit damage reported within 48 hours with photos is handled with the carrier by Turqwaz.
