The Duravit Hand shower bidette is a solid-brass hand-held bidet spray (shattaf) from Duravit, supplied with its hose and wall holder — the everyday hygiene fitting every Egyptian toilet is built around. Press the lever for a steady spray and release to stop; the flow never runs when the spray is parked. Finished in chrome.

The head is cast brass under a multi-layer chrome plating over polished brass that resists tarnish and limescale and wipes clean in one pass, with a replaceable nozzle and a soft-grip trigger; the flexible hose has ½″ conical nuts and the holder screws to the wall beside the toilet.

Egyptian mains water is hard, so the finish and the working parts are specified to shrug off limescale — a wipe with a soft cloth keeps it looking new. Feed it from an angle valve (ideally with a filter) or a bidet mixer for warm water; always close the valve when the spray is not in use for long periods. Covered for a minimum of 2 years. This Duravit product is genuine, supplied through authorised channels, and warranted against manufacturing defects for at least 2 years from the date you receive it, as required by Egypt's Consumer Protection Law No. 181 of 2018. Where Duravit or its authorised agent in Egypt offers a longer warranty on this item, the longer period applies automatically.

What the warranty covers: inspection and repair, original spare parts, the technician's travel, and transport to and from the service centre — at no cost to you. If the same defect recurs more than twice within the first year, you are entitled to a new replacement or a refund.

What it does not cover: damage from misuse, accidents or neglect; installation that does not follow the manufacturer's instructions; damage from water pressure or water quality outside the stated tolerances; limescale build-up where the product has not been cleaned as instructed; normal wear of consumable parts such as cartridges, seals, aerators and hoses; and cosmetic wear that does not affect function.

Keep your cover valid: Clean with a soft cloth and mild soap only — never acidic, chlorine or abrasive cleaners, which strip the finish. Fit angle valves with filters so debris in the supply never reaches the cartridge.

Your other rights: a 14-day return or exchange in original, uninstalled condition and packaging; a 30-day exchange or refund if the product is defective or not as described; and, for fragile items, transit damage reported within 48 hours with photos is handled with the carrier by Turqwaz.
